Specialist Accredition

With effect from 1st January 2008, the Dental Registration Act requires any person who wishes to practise as a dental specialist has to register with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC).

The following dentists are recorded in their required specialisations :-

Dr Eugene Loh - Orthodontics

Dr Lim Ching Chiat - Prosthodontics

Dr Chng Huey Shin - Endodontics

Dr Cheong Kim Yan - Prosthodontics

Dr Juliet Tay - Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgery

Dr Yasmin Akrum - Periodontics

Our New Lounge

As part of our new lease, our landlord has decided to remove one of our entrances.

We decided to take this opportunity to update our patient amenities to add a lounge area modelled after the airport lounges that cater to airlines' VIP passengers. Dr Lim actually looked at many lounges to get inspiration for this project.

Considering our physical limitations, we are rather pleased at how this little area turned out. Our patients can now avail themselves to the following facilities:

• Espresso machine

• Tea chest

• Internet station


• Magazine rack

Dental Interns

Every year, we have a position for a post A-Level student to intern at our practice. These students are those who have expressed a keen interest in pursuing a career in dentistry. This year, our intern is Polly Lim, who was previousy our orthodontic patient.

We also have a shadowing programme for secondary school students.
